On 22 September 2026, another coordination meeting of the RESISTRANS project took place at the University of Pardubice. The meeting focused on the ongoing evaluation of work in the individual work packages.

The leaders of the work packages, or their representatives, presented the current status of the work, the approaches used so far, and planned outputs. They also discussed the preparation of the Data Management Plan, including the clarification of data sources, data management methods, and their future sharing. The programme also included the creation of a terminological dictionary, which is intended to ensure consistent use of technical terms across the project.

Most members of the project team attended the meeting in person in Pardubice, while others joined online. The hybrid format enabled active involvement of all partners and efficient coordination of planned activities.

On 29 June 2026, a coordination meeting of the RESISTRANS project took place at the Transport Research Centre in Brno. It was attended primarily by the leaders of work packages starting in 2026.

The work package leaders presented the progress achieved so far, shared initial outputs, and discussed interdependencies between individual packages. The meeting confirmed that the project is progressing according to plan and that coordination across packages will remain a key part of the next steps.

The first meeting of the RESISTRANS Project Board took place on 9 June 2026 at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU, with the participation of a TA CR representative. The principal investigator presented the project concept, its objectives, and expected benefits for transport resilience and safety.

The Board members elected the Chair (Ing. Jan Gruber, Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic) and Vice-Chair (Ing. Jindřich Frič, Ph.D., Transport Research Centre) and approved the Statute and Rules of Procedure, formally establishing the operating principles of this strategic body.

The Project Board will play a key role in the strategic management of the project, assessing its conceptual direction and monitoring the alignment of activities with the project objectives. It will also serve as a strategic advisory body connecting scientific knowledge with the needs of public administration and promoting the Science for Policy principle. After the project concludes, the Board will be transformed into a Steering Board that will continue to guide the emerging RESISTRANS centre and ensure its long-term relevance for the application sphere.

The Faculty of Transportation Sciences hosted the kick-off meeting of the RESISTRANS – Centre for Smart and Resilient Mobility project. Principal investigator Prof. Ondřej Přibyl presented the objectives focused on strengthening transport system resilience and crisis mobility.

The project runs from 2026 to 2031 and involves leading research institutions and key industry partners. RESISTRANS is being established as a competence centre supporting scientific evidence in transport policy and development.
